Congratulations to our Administrators, Teachers and Staff for being awarded the coveted Maryland State Blue Ribbon School Award for 2016-2017!
The PTA is beyond proud of all of our staff for their hard work and talents. You deserve our Congratulations and admiration!
Blue Ribbon Schools are recognized on the basis of rigorous State and national requirements for high achievement and significant improvement. The program identifies public and private elementary, middle and high schools with high-achieving students in reading and mathematics, and those that have made improvements in closing the achievement gap. The schools will be invited by the U.S. Department of Education to apply to be National Blue Ribbon Schools. With underwriting and gift sponsor support, each school will receive a Maryland Blue Ribbon Flag, a monetary prize, $1000 of office supplies, interactive technology equipment, and a school Congratulations Party.
